We added “Grace” to our name a few years back and it’s a great reminder of what we lead with in our faith-walk. We’re an open-minded and open-hearted bunch seeking to lovingly express our gratitude to God for His sacrificial love for us.
One of my favorite things here is our awesome children and young families. We also have people of all ages and interests, serving and playing well together! We take God’s gracious Word seriously and ourselves—not so much. We tend to laugh a lot.
Having been established in 1916, our congregation has a rich history here in Bend. Some years back we undertook a year-long Ministry Visioning Process focusing our future direction. To make a long story short, we decided to boldly embrace our future ministry and bought land and built this beautiful new facility. Our new building is partially completed and working out great. The positive energy and mutual support is wonderful to behold.
Technically, we are an ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) Lutheran church, but as it works out, we’re made up of believers from a wide variety of Christian backgrounds…and again, playing well together!
We’d love to have you worship with us and experience what I’m talking about. We have great Sunday School and Youth programs and many adult study groups and ministry teams.
Hope to see you,
Pastor Joel LiaBraaten (“P.J.”)
