Sunday School Sponsors African Student
Our Sunday School had a visit from Jan Skonard, a member of our congregation and one of the founders of GEFA (Grandmothers Education Fund Africa) who introduced us to Nolyrus Odhiambo Agunja. Nolyrus is a 3rd grade student in Kenya. He lives with his grandmother because his mother cannot afford to raise him. Our Sunday school has committed to helping his grandmother by paying his school fees for the year; without this help Nolyrus would be unable to go to school. The cost for his fees and uniform are approximately $300 US dollars, which have been paid from our Sunday school collections. We have been asked to pray for Nolyrus to stay healthy and to be successful in his studies. Thanks for remembering him in your prayers and continuing to support his education.
