We have replaced the weekly “reverse offering” for NeighborImpact with an offering to help fill the Salvation Army Christmas baskets. This will take place November 20th, November 27th and December 4th. Some of the items that are needed are:

  • instant mash potatoes
  • Cherrios, plain or honey nut
  • apple juice
  • Ramen noodles
  • chili
  • catsup
  • jelly
  • peanut butter
  • mac and cheese
  • canned tomatoes
  • brownie mix
  • cake mix
  • frosting mix
  • chili
  • canned tuna
  • cooking oil
  • pasta
  • dressing mix
  • coffee
  • saltines
  • canned fruit
  • sugar
  • flour
  • pasta sauce
  • canned veggies

Either bring the items with you to church or stop by and place your items in one of the wagons. Thank you so much for supporting this program!

We will start our reverse offering program again in January for NeighborImpact.

The Reverse Offering Program, provides food and other items to those in need and occurs every First Sunday of the Month.

wagonThe Reverse Offering is following the offering plate at the Sunday Service with the passing of a small basket with slips of paper that have items for the “Food Basket”. Individuals are asked to take a slip from the plate and bring back on the following Sundays that item for the Food Basket. Our goal is to fill the red wagons each week!

The items are basic…soup, peanut butter, canned goods, bar soap, apple juice, rice, beans, etc.

This is designed to increase our support of NeighborImpact and involve the congregation in the act of giving. During the months of October, November, and December, all food items collected will be included in the Christmas baskets that go to families of need as selected by the Salvation Army.

Each month we will track what we donate to NeighborImpact. These are our donations to date:
